ODDA Writes to Lord Hansen Regarding Call for Tackling Fraud Online
The Global Fraud Summit in Vienna brought together Ministers, regulators, law enforcement and industry leaders from across the world. The conversations were important. But this was just the starting point. ODDA left the Global Fraud Summit with one clear mission: turning the conversations had in those rooms into action that actually protects people.
ODDA has written to Lord Hansen setting out what we believe needs to happen next, from breaking down the barriers that prevent smaller firms from accessing fraud data, to recognising survivors of romance fraud with the same seriousness we bring to domestic abuse.
The will to act is there. Now it needs to be matched by the right structures, the right investment, and the right protections for the people fraud harms most.
