The ODDA is delighted to be attending the Global Fraud Summit in Vienna on 16–17 March. We’re also pleased to have secured one of the limited speaking slots, where we’ll be discussing how to combat romance fraud in the online dating sector.
We’ll be joined by survivor-advocates Anna Rowe and Kirsty Guest, who have transformed their experiences of online romance fraud into a platform for education and advocacy, championing stronger victim support while also highlighting the positive aspects of online dating. As safety tools, reporting measures and AI-driven technology continue to evolve, the online dating environment is becoming a safer space for users.
If you are attending the event, please join us in person on Tuesday 17th March 14:00 – 15:00 in room M6 for what promises to be an engaging and insightful discussion based on real-life experience and online solutions.
