The ODDA writes to MPs, NPCC, prison charities and more in the effort to tackle VAWG
In our efforts to tackle VAWG, we have written to a number of key, influential organisations and persons to raise awareness of and highlight some of the initiatives we are requesting their support with:
→ Pushing to extend Clare’s Law to dating app users, giving them the right to ask, and the right to know
→ Calling on the NPCC and DPP to apply bail conditions that block suspects from accessing dating platforms
→ Supporting prisoner charities in their duty to share risk information about individuals released into the community
At the ODDA we believe every woman should feel safe online. That requires the whole system, from platforms to law enforcement, the courts to civil society, to work together.
