Webinar – Online Safety Beyond Childhood hosted by the Samaritans
26th June 2025 | 4:00pm to 6:00pm BST | Online | Book your place here
Understandably, much of the focus recently around online safety has been on protecting children, but what happens after they turn 18 and how do we support users in their late teens, twenties, and beyond?
On Thursday 26th June, our CEO, Simon Newman will be joining the panel at “Online Safety Beyond Childhood” hosted by the Samaritans as part of their Online Excellence Programme.
The event will cover how the internet influences suicide and self-harm risks, followed by a panel discussion about what we can do together to make digital spaces safer for everyone. We’ll be talking about some of the measures our members have put in place as well as the support they provide users.
This event is for anyone working in Trust and Safety, Policy or product development and design, with an interest in strategies that help protect adults from online harms as well as supporting their wellbeing.
Joining us will be representatives from Reddit, Inc., Beat, the Trust Alliance Group and Google.
Registration is FREE with tickets available here.
