Webinar – Age Assurance Tech: How it Works in Practice
18 September 2025 | 2:00pm to 3:00pm BST | Online | Book your place here
With the Children’s Codes coming into effect at the end of July, in-scope services should now be implementing Highly Effective Age Assurance (HEAA) measures to prevent children from accessing inappropriate content online. But how does HEAA work in practice and what do online dating and social discovery apps in-scope of the Online Safety Act need to consider to make sure they choose the right solution?
In this webinar, we’ll be joined by Julie Dawson, Co-Chair of the Age Verification Providers Association and Chief Policy and Regulatory Officer at Yoti, who’ll be explaining the different types of HEAA measures recognised by Ofcom and what services really need to know. Julie will also be talking about tackling some of the misconceptions around friction and cost as well as providing an overview of how other countries are tackling this issue.
Tickets are free and open to non-members. All registered attendees will have access to a recording of this webinar.
